Announcements (Warning: Shameless Self-Promotion)

30Mar09

Two quick for-profit announcements: (1) strategy details have been moved to MarketSci.com, and (2) Scotty is now available for subscription.

Strategy Details Moved to MarketSci.com

MarketSci.com is now the official home for all of the MarketSci-affiliated strategies (rather than just the original MarketSci strategy). You’ll still find summary information here at the blog on the strategy page, but details such as strategy descriptions, links to audited track records, and subscription/managed account info have been moved to that site.

Sticking with our theme of no hype – no bias – no bulls**t, don’t expect any fancy graphics or dancing bears…we just do the facts. This is still a work in progress, so any feedback re: other information readers would like to see is welcomed.

Scotty Available for Subscription

We roll out strategies at MarketSci in stages. First, we begin trading the strategy in real-time. After we’ve built up a few months of audited returns, we open up the strategy to subscriptions and managed accounts (like YK). And after the strategy has built up a long enough track-record to attract financial professionals, we shut down subscriptions and move to just managed accounts (like MarketSci and RH).

Scotty is ready to move to step two and I’m officially opening it up to subscribers. Visit Scotty at MarketSci.com to learn more about the strategy, our audited performance, and subscription information.

Happy Trading,
ms

No dancing bears, no subscription. Sorry.

    Hi Michael,
Just wondering, if/when YK and Scotty are moved to “managed accounts only” status, what happens to existing subscribers? Are they grandfathered for some period of time (e.g. the remainder of their subscription period, indefinitely if they keep paying, etc)?

RE to Dave: undetermined. Will depend on where we place the strategies in the future. I will try my best to give readers as much forewarning as possible about any changes. michael
